The Kassas and home church leaders in Addis Ababa

This week the Kassas facilitated training sessions for home church leaders in Addis Ababa.  Seventeen leaders attended and received practical training for leading New Testament model home churches.  Leaders and locations have been selected for three new home churches in Addis, one of which will be hosted in the Kassas’ home.  Those groups will launch soon after more focused training with the new leaders.

Unfortunately, they have lost their central meeting place in Addis.  They are looking for a new place to hold training sessions and central teachings.

Abraham, an important friend and leader from Bahir Dar was also able to attend and share the Bahir Dar churches’ experiences with transitioning to home churches.  They are doing well – eleven home churches up and running there.  Lou plans to travel to Bahir Dar soon to get a firsthand look.
